The butterfly Valve Type 57 is a quarter-turn valve with equal percentage type flow characteristics that is ideal for chemical processing and wastewater applications. Its spherical symmetric design of the disc allows smooth operation, reduces flow turbulences, and achieves excellent CV values. The massive sealing design overcomes problems that may occur in case of slurry in the media. The valve provides moderate flow control and therefore can be used in both on/off and modulating services. Plastic construction gives the valve superior corrosion resistance.
Sealing performance has been improved due to its specially designed seat "PAT pending".
Required operating torque has been reduced by applying specially designed seat.
