The Type 56 (DN400) valve is a quarter-turn valve with equal percentage type flow characteristics. This valve is ideal for chemical processing and wastewater applications and has the advantage of a robust construction with a one-piece body and a full-plastic gear box. Strong sealing on the elastomer seal in both flow directions is ensured. It provides moderate flow control and therefore can be used for both on/off and modulating service.
