The Type 57L incorporated a lug function into the design of Butterfly Valve Type 57. The lug style valve has metal threaded inserts at both sides of the valve body and enables easy and uncomplicated maintenance on reservoirs, tanks and pipe systems without extensive emptying and at existing operating pressure. The valve is ideal for water treatment and aquaculture applications.
